This species is known only from the type locality, so it has a very small extent of occurrence and area of occupancy, there is continuing decline as the area has already been impacted by the construction of a road which may be widened further and other construction activities might happen in this area as it is very flat. The species is therefore listed as Critically Endangered under criterion B1+2.
