Habitat and Ecology:Bathopelagic. Spawns in the open lake. Matures at about 2.2 cm FL. Post-larvae prefer the superficial layer while adults prefer the demersal zone up to 60m. Max. size: 2.3 cm TL (after Froese and Pauly 2003).
