Listed as Vulnerable because its Area of Occupancy is less than 2,000km2, it is known from fewer than ten locations, and there is continuing decline in the extent and quality of its habitat in Sichuan and Yunnan, China.

Range Description: This species is known from south-western Sichuan, north-eastern Yunnan and western Guizhou provinces in south-western China. It occurs from 1,700-2,950m asl.
