Justification: Listed as Least Concern since, although its known Extent of Occurrence is less than 20,000km2, it occurs in an area of extensive, suitable habitat which appears not to be under significant threat, it has a presumed large population, and it is unlikely to be in decline. |

| Range Description: | This species is known from a number of localities in the rugged central mountain ranges of Papua New Guinea, in Western Highlands, Eastern Highlands, Simbu (Chimbu) and Morobe provinces. It has been recorded from 1,400-2,580m asl. |
