Taxonomic Notes: Hutterer (2005) recognizes this species as distinct from C. zarudnyi following Jenkins (1976) and places all the largest specimens from Baltistan in this species. Roberts (1997) reports further localities from Pakistan which provisionally may belong to C. zarudnyi.
