Range Description:This species is restricted to and known only from the holotype on Middle Andaman Island (Andaman Islands, India) (Molur et al. 2005). Surveys by Chakraborty et al. (2004) did not yield any specimens of this species.

Major Threat(s): No current major threats are known for this species. However, its habitat might have been damaged by the December 2004 tsunami event.
