Contributor/s:
Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to shrubby paramo in Ecuador. Known from three subpopulations: one on the border of the Parque Nacional Sangay, 5 km east of Guardería de Alao; another 500 m east of the train crossing in a stream of the Río Angas; and the third south of Guasuntos. Expected in the Parque Nacional Sangay. The principal threats are grazing and fires.
