Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to dry inter-Andean vegetation in Ecuador, where it is known from at least four subpopulations. Recorded on the road to the Salcedo hot springs and in gardens of the Magdalena neighborhood in Quito. Not known to occur inside Ecuador’s protected areas network. Apart from habitat destruction, no specific threats are known. |
