Justification:
A terrestrial herb endemic to northwestern Ecuador. Known from several collections inside the Reserva Etnica Awá, where it is recorded as a medicinal plant. Also collected near Tandapi and Patria Pilar. Apart from habitat destruction, no specific threats are known.
