Justification:
A terrestrial herb endemic to Ecuador, where it is restricted to Andean forests in the northern provinces. Recorded inside several protected areas, like the Reserva Geobotánica Pululahua, the Awá Ethnic Reserve, and the La Favorita and Río Guajalito private reserves. Considered Least Concern because many populations are known. Apart from habitat destruction, no specific threats are known.
