Justification: A hemiepiphytic aroid endemic to Ecuador, where it is known from nine subpopulations. One occurs in the Bilsa private reserve, inside the Reserva Ecológica Mache-Chindul; additional subpopulations may occur in the Río Palenque and ENDESA private reserves. Habitat destruction is the only known threat to the species. |
