Range Description:This species is found at 850-1,000 m asl in the region of Grão Mogol, northern Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is endemic to the core area within Minas Gerais (Taylor and Zappi 2004).

Major Threat(s): The major threats are loss of habitat due to deforestation for agriculture, cattle ranching and Eucalyptus plantations. However, these only have affected the population in the margins of its range.
