Habitat and Ecology [top]

Habitat and Ecology:An epiphytic species from montane forest (900-1,200 m).

Threats [top]

Major Threat(s): A possible threat is forest clearance for agriculture, firewood, and housing, all believed to be at their most intense in this vegetation type in the Buea area.

Conservation Actions [top]

Conservation Actions: This species merits effort to rediscover it and to assess population size and threats. It is possible, from the collection data available, that it may be restricted to the edge of the large town of Buea, and so threatened by urban expansion and proximity. Relocation of plants and promotion of the rarity of this species to those unwittingly threatening it should be considered.
