Habitat and Ecology: A large emergent tree, sparsely scattered in areas of lowland non-flooded rainforest, such as Atlantic forest, mesophyllous, riverine or hygrophyllous forest and semi-deciduous woodland. Large trees also remain in agricultural areas and coffee plantations.
