| Range Description: | Known from scattered populations in the Western Ghats. It has been collected mostly from isolated peaks in the Nilgiris. Subpopulations have also been recorded from outlying areas, mainly at high altitudes, from South Kanara in Karnataka and the Anamalai range. |
