Range Description: This species occurs from Democratic Republic of Congo to Kenya and Tanzania to Southern Africa. Recorded from Okavango and Zambesi rivers, in Uganda it is only known from an island on Lake Victoria and in Tanzania it occurs at Bukoba district in Lake Victoria.
