Range Description:This species is found throughout the Gulf of Mexico, off of the southeastern coast of the United States, the Bahamas, Lesser and Greater Antilles, and Colombia. It is also reported from the Canary Islands in the eastern Atlantic (Deichmann 1930, 1940, 1954).
