Justification:
Lepidocephalichthys manipurensis occurs only in Manipur in India and the neighbouring Myanmar Yu River drainage.  The range is just over 20,000 km2 and with no threats known to the species it is assessed as Least Concern with a caution that more research is required and that the species is reassessed with more information at a later date.
