Translations

IUCN's three official languages are English, French and Spanish. All of the IUCN Red List documents and training materials are available in English. An increasing number of these are also available in French and Spanish.

Full or partial translations of some IUCN Red List documents and training materials have also been carried out by various sources, some within IUCN (e.g., IUCN Regional Offices) and some outside of IUCN (e.g., organisations involved in national Red List projects). Since these translations have not always have been checked through official IUCN channels, IUCN cannot guarantee that the definitions of technical terms used in these documents have been translated appropriately.

If you are aware of translations of any of the IUCN Red List documents that do not appear in the list below, please contact the IUCN Red List Unit.
