Justification: Listed as Least Concern in view of its very wide distribution, presumed large population, tolerance of habitat alteration, and because it is unlikely to be declining fast enough to qualify for listing in a more threatened category.
History:

Geographic Range

Range Description: This species ranges from the southern US, through México and Central America to South America as far south as northern Argentina (Gardner 2005). It is also present in the Lesser Antilles (Grenada), and Trinidad and Tobago.
