Geographic Range
Range Description:
Aceros leucocephalus is endemic to the Philippines occurring on three islands, Mindanao and its two small satellites Camiguin Sur and Dinagat. Most distributional data are from between 300 and 1,000 m in original native lowland forest, but despite clearly losing ground to habitat clearance, hunting and trapping for trade, in recent years the species has been judged fairly common.
