Justification: Peperomia udimontana is endemic to Ecuador's eastern Andean slopes, where it is known from a single 1935 collection. Habitat destruction is the only known threat. |
Range Description: | Endemic to Ecuador's eastern Andean slopes, where it is known from a single 1935 collection (in Pastaza province). The type locality is between Puyo and Canelos, in dense, shaded forest. No specimens of this species are housed in Ecuadorean museums. |
