Scientific Name:	Amentotaxus poilanei
Species Authority:	(De Ferré & Rouane) D.K.Ferguson
Taxonomic Notes:	Synonym = A. yunnanensis H.L.Li var. poilanei De Ferré & Rouane. Specimens of this species may have been recorded as A. yunnanensis in the past; a critical investigation of all herabrium specimens would be desirable.

Justification:
Known from three localities in Viet Nam, one in the north and two in the south; confirmation of some localities is needed, but it is possibly more common than currently thought. Although it grows to a height of 20 m, it is easily overlooked in the densely forested and mountainous area where it occurs. The assessment is based on a more than 30% reduction due to deforestation.
