Justification: E. laristanica is endemic to Iran and known from a small number of specimens and a restricted range (ca. 10,000 km²). However, it occurs in fairly remote areas, often above 1,000 m and does not appear to be affected by any threatening processes at present. The population is believed to be stable, but further surveys in the region should be carried out to determine population size and to detect any declines or potential threats. The species is listed as Least Concern. |
