Geographic Range [top]

Range Description:Clermontia oblongifolia is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. Three subspecies are known, occurring on O'ahu (Clermontia oblongifolia ssp. oblongifolia), Moloka'i (Clermontia oblongifolia ssp. brevipes) and Maui (Clermontia oblongifolia ssp. mauiensis). On Moloka'i and Maui there are fewer than 30 individuals remaining and both of these subspecies are assessed as Critically Endangered (CR D). However, on O'ahu the species is relatively common.
