|Habitat and Ecology:||This species lives in mud and rubble sand at 50 to 80 m depth (Coltro pers. comm. 2011) with adults typically growing to 32 mm (Rosenberg 2009).|

|Use and Trade:||In common with all Conus spp this species is traded for the specimen shell collector market (Rice 2007). It is not a common species as it lives at depths between 50-80 m in areas not fished (Coltro pers. comm. 2011). There are no quantitative data available on the number of shells removed.|
