Scientific Name: Conus alabaster
Species Authority: Reeve, 1849
Taxonomic Notes: The holotype of this species is a juvenile.  It has been suggested that this species is a synonym of Conus sulcatus.

This species is only known from the holotype from the China Sea and a handful of specimens in collections from the Philippines. Nothing is known regarding its population status, habitat, or ecology.  This species may be a synonym of Conus sulcatus.  It is currently listed as Data Deficient, and future research is recommended.

Range Description:The only specimens on record are from the Philippines and the holotype was described from the China Sea (A. J. Kohn pers. comm. 2011).  This species may be a synonym of Conus sulcatus.
