| Habitat and Ecology: | This demersal species occurs in coastal waters, frequently in rocky reefs and occasionally over sandy substrate (McKay and Schneider, 1995), often near kelp beds. Juveniles form schools in littoral pools (McKay and Schneider, 1995). |
