Very little is known about this species. However it has a wide range within south-eastern China, with no threats known, and it is therefore assessed as Least Concern.
|Range Description:||The species is recorded from a number of provinces in southern China (Fujian, Anhui, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Zhejiang). The species should be looked for in connected drainages in northern Viet Nam.|
