Scientific Name:	Abida pyrenaearia
Species Authority:	(Michaud, 1831)
Taxonomic Notes:	Abida vergniesiana was conisidered to be a subspecies of Abida pyrenaearia by Fauna Europeae (Bank et al. 2006). However, here, we follow Kokshoorn and Gittenberger (2010) who consider them to be distinct species.

Population:	There are no population data available, but the species is common where it occurs, especially in the central Pyrenees. Therefore the population trend is assumed to be stable.
