This species is listed as Data Deficient because of an absence of any information on it, and that it is known only from a few records on the Antarctica Peninsula and Bouvet Island.

Geographic Range [top]

Range Description:This species is only known from a few specimens collected in Antarctica, including the Antarctic Peninsula and Bouvet Island (Gutt 1991). Specimens were collected on the western side of the Antarctic peninsula at 250m as well as Eastern Antarctica (O'Loughlin 2002) at 603m (O'Loughlin 2009).
