Geographic Range [top]

Range Description: Originally collected from a temporary pond in a march near Augusta, Georgia in 1910, later reported from a bayou off Bolin's Creek near Chapel Hill, North Carolina. there is a recent unpublished record from a bay in the Savannah River Nuclear Power Plant reserve. aiken County, South Carolina (specimens in U.S.National Museum of Nautral History). this is apparently a rare species of temporary pools.(Janet Reid, pers comm 1995)
