Range Description: This species occurs on eastern, lower Andean slopes, 650-2400 m, from south central Bolivia (Tarija Province; Anderson, 1997) to northwestern Argentina (Jujuy to Catamarca Provinces: Mares et al., 1997, Ortiz et al. 2000a; Tucumann and Salta provinces: Musser and Carleton 2005).
