Habitat and Ecology: Occurs over sand and mud bottoms at depths of between 20–40 m. Small pharyngeal teeth indicate that it may feed on soft material such as insect larvae and plankton. Reported not to have been exported in the aquarium trade (1990). Max. size: 16 cm SL.
