This species does live in areas that are threatened through agriculture (timber plantations), but its current extent of occurrence is larger than the threshold for Vulnerable. The area of occupancy is unknown because it is uncertain whether it is confined to or totally dependant on forest patches, or whether populations also occur in grassland.
