|Red List Category & Criteria:||Least Concern ver 3.1|
|Reviewer(s):||Samways, M. & Hamer, M. (Southern African Invertebrate Red List Authority)|
This species occurs at localities all along the Drakensberg. The Drakensberg area is not heavily transformed and is protected, and there is no evidence that the extent of occurrence or area of occupancy here has declined. The Ingeli forest area is somewhat threatened through road development, alien plants and plantations, and this population may decline. However, the extent of occupancy and area of occurrence are larger than for the threatened category thresholds.
