Justification:
This species has only been collected from two localities, one in the suburban area of Bloemfontein, and one approximately 100 km away in the Caledon Nature Reserve. The habitat between the two localities is not entirely transformed but it is not known whether this species does occur more widely, or whether the population is fragmented.
