Population densities seem to be low, and not many specimens have been collected from few localities. It is, however, anticipated that this species will occur between the collection points since there is still much untransformed habitat in the area, and this species does appear to occur in grassland habitat. The extent of occurrence and area of occupancy is likely to be larger than the thresholds for threatened categories.
