Range Description: This species is known only from the region of the type locality, which is "Peddavalasa (17° 47'N; 82° 16'E), ca. 1,000m altitude [asl], Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh State, south-eastern India" (Das and Chanda 1998) in the Eastern Ghats of India.
