Justification: Listed as Critically Endangered because its Area Of Occupancy is less than 10km2, its distribution is severely fragmented, and there is continuing decline in the extent and quality of its habitat, in the number of locations, and in the number of mature individuals. |

| Range Description: | This species is known only from eastern Fujian province (Fuzhou, Fuqing, Yongtai and Changle, Xianyou), China. It has been recorded from 110-550m asl. |

| Habitat and Ecology: | It inhabits pools, marshes and grassy banks along small streams, but also occurs in the grassy edges of paddy fields. It breeds in still-water habitats. |
