Justification: Although this species is known mainly from isolated records from a large area, it is listed as Least Concern in view of its wide distribution, presumed large population, and because there are presently no known threats, and it is unlikely to be declining fast enough to qualify for listing in a more threatened category. |

| Range Description: | This species is known the southern end of the Owen Stanley Mountains, Pini Range, and Cloudy Mountains of southern Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. It has been recorded from sea level up to 1,550m asl. |
