Range Description:This species is known only from Jingdong and Yongde counties in south-western Yunnan Province, China, from 1,400-2,400m asl. It might occur a little more widely than records suggest.

Habitat and Ecology:It inhabits the forest floor of evergreen broadleaf forests. It breeds in the head of streams and the larvae are then washed some distance downstream.
