| Range Description: | This species is known only from Molleturo on the Pacific slopes of the Cordillera Occidental in the province of Azuay, Ecuador, at 2,317m asl. It might occur more widely. |

| Habitat and Ecology: | The only known specimens were collected from beneath stones in an area of pastureland and scrubby vegetation, with little remaining forest. This is presumably a montane forest species that has been able to adapt to highly disturbed habitats. It is presumed to breed by direct development, but the egg deposition site is not known. |
