Range Description:This species is known only from Molleturo on the Pacific slopes of the Cordillera Occidental in the province of Azuay, Ecuador, at 2,317m asl. It might occur more widely.

Habitat and Ecology [top]

Habitat and Ecology:The only known specimens were collected from beneath stones in an area of pastureland and scrubby vegetation, with little remaining forest. This is presumably a montane forest species that has been able to adapt to highly disturbed habitats. It is presumed to breed by direct development, but the egg deposition site is not known.
