Habitat and Ecology [top]

Habitat and Ecology:Its preferred habitat is unknown (the habitat of the type locality was not given in the original description), but if it is similar to other species of the genus it possibly frequents forest. There is no information known about its breeding habits, though again if it is similar to other members of the genus reproduction is presumably by larval development in streams.
Systems:Terrestrial; Freshwater

Threats [top]

Major Threat(s): There is no information on threats to this species.

Conservation Actions [top]

Conservation Actions: To aid its conservation, more research is urgently needed into its extent of occurrence, ecological requirements and population status, in particular to determine whether or not it has a restricted range, if it is subject to any major threats, and if it occurs in any protected areas.
