Justification:
Lithops vallis-mariae is assessed as Least Concern. The RAMAS® Red List version 2.0 software package was used to make this assessment. This species is known from 14–28 subpopulations with extent of occurrence 8,750–15,000 km². Continuing population decline is suspected, although there currently are no data to support this. Considered Least Concern at present, but the population should be monitored.
