Range Description: Antsiranana: Masoala Integral Natural Reserve, Ambodisatirana, Ifonty, Toamasina: Mahatsra, Tampolo, Ambila- Lemaintso Forest Station, Betampona Integral Natural Reserve, Ambatovaky Special Reserve, Mahatsara Forest Station, Brickaville. Extent of occurrence: 28,538 km² and area of occupancy: 15,998 km².

Density: one mature individual per ha; Abundance: 250–1,000 mature individuals; Number of subpopulations: eight, of which three are in protected areas.
