Justification:
A vine endemic to Andean Ecuador, where it is known from six locales in a small area of Loja province. Not known to occur in Ecuador’s protected areas network, but could occur in the Parque Nacional Pordocarpus. Apart from habitat destruction, no specific threats are known.
