Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to Ecuador's southeastern Andes, where it is known from three populations. Protected in the Parque Nacional Podocarpus and also present in paramos nearby. Collected frequently but always in the same small area. Apart from habitat destruction, no specific threats are known. |
