Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to Andean Ecuador, where all collections are from a small area on the western slopes of the Pichincha and Atacazo volcanoes. The principal threats are grazing, fires, and urban sprawl from nearby Quito. Potentially may occur inside the Reserva Ecológica Los Ilinizas. |
