Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to Ecuador, where it is known only from the type, collected in 1982 in Añangu, inside the Parque Nacional Yasuní. The principal threats are oil production, disorganized tourism, and road building allowing more colonization. Additional populations surely occur inside the immense protected areas of the region. |
